Description

RAC-Series Single-Acting Lightweight Hydraulic Cylinders feature a high-strength return spring for rapid retraction and an integral stop ring to prevent plunger over-travel. All are equipped with hardened steel saddles, and a steel base plate is standard on 20-ton models and above.

Enerpac Aluminum Hydraulic Cylinders can change the way you think about your cylinder applications. With approximately half of the weight of their equivalent steel models, they combine an impressive power to weight ratio with the convenience of easier transport and positioning. They are rated for 10,000 psi (700 bar) and comply with ASME B30.1.

Aluminum is not only lightweight, but also inherently less corrosive than steel, which makes it a great material for use in many caustic environments. For enhanced protection, RAC Aluminum Cylinders are finished with an anodized hard coat finish to resist damage and extend cylinder life.

To create the optimal lightweight set, also consider the lightweight P392 and P802 composite hand pumps.

  • High-strength return spring for rapid cylinder retraction
  • Composite bearings prevent metal-to-metal contact, increasing cylinder life and resistance to side-loads of up to 10%
  • Hard coat finish on all surfaces resists damage and extends cylinder life
  • For protection against load-induced damage, a hardened steel saddle is standard on all models.
  • Steel base plate is standard on RAC 20 ton models and above.
  • Integral stop ring prevents plunger over-travel, and can withstand the full cylinder capacity
  • CR400 coupler and dust cap included on all models
  • All cylinders meet ASME B-30.1 standards
  • Handles included on all 30 - 150 ton models
  • Most are compatible with Enerpac tilt saddles
